How We Work

As Independent Financial Advisers we are able to advise on financial products available from all product providers. We use advanced computer software to research, compare and select the most suitable products and services currently available. This enables us to deliver financial solutions which are cost-effective and maximise the potential benefits to you.

You will get our help to review your current and projected financial situation leading to a realistic assessment of your likely needs. To achieve this, you will need to set aside some time to talk to us – the first consultation is free. There is no charge for an initial consultation and no obligation while we find out how best we can work together.

All our recommendations take account of the financial products you have already put in place. We advise where your financial arrangements are already sound, where they are inadequate and where you are particularly exposed to financial risk.

When a number of different actions are recommended, you will also have our help in deciding your priorities. Our recommendations will of course be sensibly balanced in relation to your current income, future prospects and affordability.

In some cases we are able to obtain terms or gain access to products which clients would, in normal circumstances, be unable to do for themselves. All our proposals will be fully explained and costed so that you can decide what course of action to take from an informed position. Our recommendations will also be detailed in a Letter of Suitability.

After the initial free consultation, we will agree with you whether we are paid by means of commission incorporated in the cost of any financial product you buy, by means of a fee payable by you, or a combination of the two. Whether we take our remuneration by way of commission or fees will be a matter of discussion between us followed by a written agreement. No fees will be levied without prior agreement in writing.
